Featured Product - Protection Powder

Merry meet!

For some time now I've been looking to add some of the spells I use to my Etsy shop, and I'm slowly launching a few over the next few weeks, so I thought I would introduce some of them.

Protection powder, available from my shop
Protection powder is a really useful tool to have in your magick witchy collection.  It is really versatile and can be used in a number of ways.  If your practice involves the casting of a circle before magick or ritual then this is ideal for an extra level of security; it contains salt which is traditionally used for circle casting, with the added bonus of eggshell and dragon's blood for protection and power.

Although I rarely cast a physical circle I do use protection powder to protect doorways.  Sprinkled over the threshold it prevents unwanted visitors from entering your house.  While I would never suggest you don't lock your doors, it can be very useful for friends and neighbours who pop round at all hours for a cup of tea and a chat without invite.

The rune thurisaz
It can also be used as a paste. Simply shake some out, add a little water and then using your finger or wand tip, paint protective sigils over your doors and windows, or on the bottom of your shoes before you go out.  You can use whichever protective symbol you like, but some popular ones are the Celtic cross, or the rune thurisaz.

I have known people use protection powder in some very inventive ways. They've carried some with them to protect from mishaps, used it as a coating to dishes they keep their keys in, and one lady even kept a small sachet in her purse to protect against theft of the cash and her cards from being stolen or cloned.  Ingenious!

So there you go, just some of the uses for this simple powder blend.  If you want some, it's available right now in my shop.

Until next time everyone, and stay safe!
