Yuletide Blessings

Merry meet one and all, and welcome to one of my last blogs for 2014!  I do hope you're all well and are enjoying the festive season.

Do you celebrate Yule? It marks the winter solstice, or the longest night of the year.  This year we threw a Yule party and invited friends round for a feast. I had candles lit and the table was weighed down with food. I mulled some wine and apple juice, and as the sun set we celebrated each other's company and looked ahead to the spring.

While none of our friends are pagan, I was honoured that those of other faiths, both Christian and Muslim, joined my husband and I for this special sabbat, and indeed it gave a lot of them the opportunity to ask questions and get an understanding of what Yule means to me spiritually.  Then the following morning, while the rest of the house was sleeping, I slipped outside and performed my meditation and ritual to honour and welcome the new Sun and to give thanks in advance for the growth I will experience over the coming months.

Now we are in that weird lull between Yule and Christmas.  I have a little bit of work to do; today is the penultimate edition of our LifeScape Radio show Dax Has Your Number and we will be discussing more tips on becoming a successful professional video psychic, though the advice is also valid if you don't yet embrace video readings. Although my Skype readings are still on sale (go to lifescaperadio.com/holiday to book before the end of the year) they have slowed down now, so it looks like the radio show will mark the last bit of work before the festivities begin.

With that in mind I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful Christmas, I send you blessings of joy and hope, and I will see you all again soon!

Blessed be )0(
