A Spell To End Bad Luck

Merry meet one and all!

Today I thought I would try something different.  I usually share with you an aspect of my life that is related to my beliefs and witchcraft, but a chance tweet has given me the idea to share something from my personal grimoire.  For those not in the know, this is like my diary, or a progress book.  As I practice my craft  I keep a look out for spells people have shared that might come in handy, or ones I have created.  I have also put in notes about moon phases, divination tools, aromatherapy, energising chants, poems, websites, anything that relates to my magick that I have learnt and which may come in handy.

A conversation with someone on Twitter resulted in me offering a spell to end bad luck; because Twitter only lets you use 140 characters, email addresses were exchanged and the spell passed on.  That was last night; I woke up this morning to more requests from people that felt the spell could help them.  So to make sure everyone who wants it can have it, I thought I'd put it in my blog.  If this proves a popular move I'll see about sharing some others from my collection.  So without further ado, this is what you need to do.

During a waning moon, when the moon is moving from Full to New, stand a black candle in your cauldron or a sink.  Fill the cauldron with water until it reaches half an inch below the wick.  Light the candle and gaze into the flame.  Think about all the bad things that have happened to you, and how things will soon be better.  As the flame reaches the water it will sputter and go out; visualise your troubles going out with the flame - poof!  Finally, because the water has taken away your problems, pour the water away and watch as your troubles disappear either down the plug hole or into the soil, then bury the candle somewhere it won't be disturbed.

So that's it, pretty simple really.  If you try it, please let me know how you get on.

Blessed be )0(
